Arson Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Black Rock last night.
Police and emergency services were called to a property in Ardoyne Street following reports of a fire inside a home just after 9.30pm.
Responding officers have been told a man, who is yet to be formally identified, was found inside the home.
The fire was extinguished, and a crime scene has been set up while detectives work to process the scene.
It is expected an arson chemist will attend the scene this morning along with detectives to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire.
Police will prepare a report for consideration of the Coroner.
