Board Chair Of Western Sydney Airport Reappointed

The Albanese Government has reappointed Mr Paul O'Sullivan as the Chair of the WSA Co Limited (WSA) Board for a two-year term.

Mr O'Sullivan is the inaugural Chair of the WSA Board whose leadership has guided the success of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) project to date.

Mr O'Sullivan's reappointment provides continuity to the WSA Board as the airport moves from the construction phase to operations. Comprehensive testing of the new airport is now underway, with domestic, international and air cargo flights on track to commence from the second half of 2026.

Mr O'Sullivan is an experienced leader and currently serves as Chair of ANZ Bank and Chair of St Vincent's Health Australia. His experience includes roles as the former Chair and CEO of Optus Australia and Group Consumer, Singtel Singapore.
