A body has been found by police searching for a man reported missing from Lake Illawarra.
A 50-year-old man was reported missing to officers from Lake Illawarra Police District, when he failed to return to his home on Rhondda Street, Berkeley, yesterday (Friday 31 July 2020).
An investigation commenced and following inquiries, a body was found in bushland at Northcliffe drive, Berkeley this afternoon.
The body has been formally identified as that of the missing man.
Initial inquiries suggest his death is not suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
