A man reported missing from the Blue Mountains has been located deceased.
The 66-year-old was last seen leaving his home in Katoomba, about 11.30am on Wednesday 22 April 2020.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and conducted an extensive search for the man.
Earlier today (Tuesday 28 April 2020), the body of a man was located in Bushland near Cliff Drive, Katoomba.
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
Inquiries into the incident continue, however the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
