Work is nearly complete on the new Bombala Sewage Pumping Station, with final testing underway this week from Tuesday 9 December to Thursday 11 December 2025.
Clean water will be pumped through the new infrastructure, making sure everything is ready to go and the new pumping station can be connected to the local sewer network.
Residents and businesses may see some clean water coming from the site on Therry St at the front of Riverside Park during testing. This is normal and part of the test. The pumping station is not connected to the sewer network and the fresh water used during testing poses no risk to the public.
