To strengthen national capacities for SDG data production and reporting, ESCWA held a regional workshop in Cairo for SDG coordinators from the national statistical offices (NSOs) and national SDG units.
The workshop, held from 13 to 15 January in collaboration with UN custodian agencies, aimed at strengthening technical capacities in the collection and reporting of indicators, with special attention to gender- and disability-related data. It was also an avenue to promote transparent and efficient data flows between national institutions and international agencies.
The workshop provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss the latest tools and methodologies in SDG data management.
