A new and unique celebration of the season experienced through the Riverina’s glorious food and wine has been added to the exciting line up of Spring Fest events this year with thanks to local chef Rod Pieper of Reggie P’s Catering & BBQ – ‘Purveyors of smoke equality’.
“Botanica will be an explosion of colour and flavour that is sure to leave a tasty, lasting impression,” said Chef Roderick.
Botanica will be held on Saturday, 19 October 2019 at 6pm at the picturesque and renowned Calabria Family Wines.
The evening will commence with signature canapés by Chef Roderick and a complimentary glass of Calabria Family Wine for guests as they browse stunning works of art displayed by local artists, some created especially for Botanica.
Griffith City Council’s Tourism Manager Mirella Guidolin said it was exciting to have this new food and wine dining experience added to the line-up of Spring Fest events.
“We are absolutely delighted, this is going to be a fantastic night,” Ms Guidolin said.
“This region is packed with some of the best produce around so it makes sense to celebrate with this feast.”
The main portion of the night will see guests seated at a long table outside in a clear marquee. They will feast on a sumptuous two course meal designed and executed by Chef Roderick utilising the best local produce this region has to offer, all while watching as the sun sets and is replaced by stars in the night sky.
A dessert course showcasing the handmade gelato of Chef Ben and the team at Zecca Handmade Italian Griffith, will complete the mouth-watering experience.
Award-winning Calabria Family Wines will be in abundance as well as the refreshing Australian Beer Company brew.
The talented Jones Trio will entertain with acoustic music throughout the night.
Reggie P’s Catering & BBQ will breathe new life into a time-honoured event that is one not to be missed.
Botanica – The Spring Fest Feast is an over 18’s only event.
