Brazen burglars bag blue bike

Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for help to identify a man and woman following a burglary in Williamstown on Monday (3 June).

It is understood the pair broke into a secure property cage within an apartment block on Ferguson Street sometime between 2am and 4am.

While inside, they stole a blue mountain bike and other personal items, including a blue and black "Lifeline" backpack.

Police have released images of a man and woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The woman is perceived as Caucasian in appearance and about 20 to 25 years old.

She was wearing black jeans and a maroon jacket.

The man, also perceived as Caucasian in appearance, is about 30 years old and was wearing black jeans and a grey jacket.
