Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigations Branch have arrested three teenage boys after they were found hiding in bushes following a break and enter at Carindale in the early hours of this morning, 18 September.
Initial investigations indicate that around 12.26am, police were called after three boys allegedly broke into an Amersham Crescent residence and were stealing a number of personal items when they were disturbed by the occupant and fled on foot.
A short time later, Brisbane Dog Squad tracked the boys to bushland near Nelson Place, where they were taken into custody.
A 16-year-old Cleveland boy has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent at night in company and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
A 16-year-old Alexandra Hills boy was charged with two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence and one count enter dwelling with intent by break at night in company
The boys are expected to appear before Brisbane Childrens Court today.
The third boy, a 15-year-old from Birkdale, sustained a dog bite during the arrest and received medical assistance at the scene before being transported to hospital for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
