Break and enter charges at Gold Coast

Five juveniles have been charged after an alleged break and enter involving a stolen vehicle on the Gold Coast yesterday, Tuesday June 14.

Around 1.30pm, police were notified of a break and enter occurring at a residence on Bonogin Road at Bonogin.

Officers attended the scene where they located a stolen blue BMW and a stolen black Jeep travelling together.

Officers successfully deployed a Tyre Deflation Device on Bonogin Road damaging one of the Jeep's tyres, while the BMW evaded police.

Police tracked the Jeep from Mudgeeraba onto the Pacific Motorway before it exited around Coomera (Exit 54) where the four juveniles were arrested

Four boys aged 13,14,16 and 17, and one girl, 14, have been charged with a number of property offences, including burglary, unlawful use of a motorvehicle and receiving tainted property.

The BWM, stolen from Pacific Pines was tracked by police travelling towards Brisbane and remains outstanding.

The Jeep was stolen from Emerald Lakes.
