Police are investigating two break and enters on chemists on the northern end of the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning that are believed to be linked.
Around 4am, a stolen black Porsche SUV with Queensland registration "NMACK" was driven up to the Vaughan Drive business where three males got out of the vehicle and used a trolley to smash in the front glass doors of the premises. The group ransacked the pharmaceutical shelves and drawers before leaving the premises and getting back into the Porsche.
Around 4.15am, the same vehicle pulled up to a chemist at Leo Graham Way and again used a trolley to smash the glass doors of the business. A group of males entered the store and stole drugs before leaving the scene in the Porsche.
Police investigations reveal the black Porsche was stolen from a residence at Runaway Bay overnight.
Anyone who may have seen the black Porsche in the area around the time of the break ins is urged to contact police.
