Lancelin Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Indian Ocean Drive Breton Bay (between Seabird and Ledge Point) on Monday 5 June 2017.
At approximately 12:45pm, a dark grey coloured Holden Captiva travelling north on Indian Ocean Drive collided with a red Mitsubishi Pajero towing a camper trailer that was travelling south on Indian Ocean Drive, WA Police say.
The 40 year old male driver of the Holden received life threatening injuries and died at the scene. His 40 year old wife and their two young children received minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to the Joondalup Health Campus. The family was visiting Perth from Singapore.
The female driver of the Mitsubishi, a 64 year old woman from Warnbro, received minor injuries and was also conveyed to the Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.
Police investigating the crash would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or either vehicle prior to the crash.
