Brick thrown at car on Monash Freeway at Narre Warren

Police are appealing for public help after a brick was thrown from a car towards another vehicle on the Monash Freeway in Narre Warren last month, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told that three women, aged in their early 20s, were traveling in a gold Honda sedan, east on the Monash Freeway between Hallam and Narre Warren when an alleged stolen gold Toyota Echo drove up next to them about 11.20am on Monday 19 November.

The Toyota Echo, with registration ECHO99, contained two unknown females.

Police have been told the unknown driver threw a plastic bottle out of the car which struck the victim’s car.

The front passenger in the Toyota Echo then threw a brick out of the window before continuing to drive off along the freeway.

The brick caused minor panel damage to the victim’s car. The two occupants did not suffer any injuries.

The Toyota Echo was later located abandoned in Fitzroy.

Police have released the below images of two women who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.

The driver is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in her mid to late 20’s with long dark hair.

The front passenger is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in her mid to late 20’s with short bleached blonde hair.
