Evie and Skye elevating homes with an integrated collection of aspirational, fresh and luxurious homewares

British born luxury homewares brand Evie & Skye has opened for business and launched its premium cushion range.
Made and manufactured in the UK, the original designs of Evie and Skye pay homage to the decorative style of the Art Deco movement, the fresh sophistication of the Amalfi Coast and the casual playfulness of Palm Springs. Narratives of generations past and a patchwork of cultures lived by the two female co-founders.
Anchored in a colour palette of blues, greens, blushes and yellows offset by crisp white, each of the ten designs in Evie and Skye's launch collection complement one another, encouraging the cushions to be mixed, matched and layered. A complimentary set of luxurious velvet cushions provides character and depth to the range. When combined, the textural variations created by high-quality cotton, silk-cotton blends, and velvets elevate space and allow people to tell their individual stories. The exclusive collection is now available at evieandskye.com, starting from £95 upwards to £225 for their Statement collection.
With their children as their muses, Evie and Skye's Co-Founders have also crafted a perfectly petit collection of 12 Tiny Tot cushions priced between £65 – £80. Disappointed by the lack of stylish yet unique children's bedding for their children, they set out to design a sophisticated yet playful range, allowing parents to create charming yet imaginative bedrooms for their precious Tiny Tots.
Caroline Service from Melbourne, Australia and Daniela Townson from Chiswick, London, founded the Independent Brand after a chance meeting at their daughter's ballet lessons in West London. Frustrated with a homewares market that was eerily formulaic and lacked fresh yet sophisticated, original yet timeless designs, they decided to collaborate. Over four years, they honed their vision and handcrafted each pattern and design to create their bespoke trademark style.
Evie & Skye Co-founder, Caroline Service, said:
"Uninspired by the lack of variety in lifestyle brands, we created Evie & Skye to invigorate living spaces with fresh patterns and bold colours that we could mix and match. Luxurious in look and feel, our cushions radiate style and elegance to elevate spaces with colour and personality."
The result is an uplifting and fresh collection underpinned by a sophisticated glamour of eras past, which they attribute to their ancestry and global life experiences. Evie and Skye Co-Founder, Daniela Townson talks of her maternal grandfather's Italian heritage as the architecture of her identity.
"He was a creative genius, who exuded timeless elegance. The sun-drenched towns of the Amalfi Coast were his home and he lived amongst the colourful properties that tumble down to the seas edge. His creative spirit has definitely been passed down and his love for fresh, bold and impeccable design continues to be the link that binds us today".
The turbulence caused by the worldwide pandemic, resulted in a delayed launch for Evie and Skye. However, the Co-Founders were adamant that once their manufacturing partners commenced operation, they would start trading and consumers from around the world would be able to purchase their collection that they have been sharing with such positive feedback on social media.
Evie & Skye Co-founder, Caroline Service, added,
"There has never been a tougher time to launch a small business, but it's also during these times that we have seen the role of the home change. Homes have become safe havens, retreats from the external chaos of the world, and people are wanting to elevate their space as they spend most of their time in the confines of their home. Micro decorating has grown from strength to strength. From the feedback we've had, we're confident our luxurious cushions will enhance spaces and bring joy to all."
