
Leaders from across the building sector have come together to explore the Rockhampton region's future industry priorities and workforces needs.
Rockhampton Regional Council's economic development arm, Advance Rockhampton, hosted the Building Rockhampton Infrastructure Update event today.
The event brought together more than 170 regional stakeholders from the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning, the Rockhampton Ring Road, Rockhampton Sports Precincts and the projects underway at CQ Health and CQUniversity.
Attendees shared updates on the extensive pipeline of major projects under construction or planned for the Rockhampton Region, as well as the opportunities they present for local businesses, workers and the community through procurement, supply chain and employment openings.
