Burglary And Stolen Vehicle Appeal At Beaudesert

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist with their investigations into a burglary and stolen vehicle incident in Beaudesert on 10 January.

Around 2.15am, a man attended a motel on Brisbane Street before gaining entry into a room and stealing keys to a blue Toyota Landcruiser.

The owner of the Landcruiser confronted the man, during which an altercation ensued resulting in the man threatening the victim with a knife.

The man then fled the scene in the Landcruiser, injuring the vehicle owner while driving away.

The blue Toyota Landcruiser bearing Queensland registration 181 VBT was last sighted in the Warwick around 3.30am.

Police are appealing to the man and anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the man and the vehicle, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
