Burglary And Thefts Across Melbourne's Southeast

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary, thefts and attempted burglaries across Melbourne's southeastern suburbs last month.

It is understood a man forced entry into a property on Winners Circuit in Aspendale Gardens between 10pm on 6 March and 10.30am on 7 March.

A car was stolen, as well as bank cards which were later used to purchase alcohol in Mentone.

Police were told a motorbike was stolen from Blackburn Road in Clayton on 7 March.

They are also investigating after a mobile phone, sunglasses and keys were stolen from a vehicle parked on Balcombe Road in Mentone on 10 March.

Detectives are investigating two attempted burglaries, one in Mount Waverley on 11 March, and another in Doncaster East on 14 March.

The incidents are believed to be linked at this stage.

Investigators have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
