Police have charged a teenage boy for burglary offences following an incident in Camp Hill on Tuesday, 3 February.
Police were called to an address on Warilda Street around 1.45am after an occupant became aware of someone attempting to gain entry into the property.
It will be alleged the offender gained entry through the front door of the property before being confronted by the occupant and fleeing the scene in a car of unknown make or model.
Following investigations, officers arrested a 17-year-old Inala boy at an address in Collingwood Park around 10am on Thursday, 5 February in relation to Camp Hill as well as a number of additional offences in the South Brisbane area.
He had been charged with five counts of unlawful use of motor vehicles, four counts of enter dwelling with intent, three counts of face masked or disguised with intent, two counts of enter premises and commit indicatable offences, and one count of receiving tainted goods.
He appeared at Richlands Children's Court on 6 February.
