Burn out charges at Wagga Wagga

A man will appear in court next month charged with driving offences in the state's Riverina.

About 12.15pm on Saturday 26 March 2022, officers attached to Wagga Wagga Highway Patrol were conducting patrols along Adjin Street, Mount Austin, when they observed a vehicle conducting burnouts.

Police spoke to the driver – a 26-year-old man – who was issued a Court Attendance Notice for interfere with person's enjoyment or risk safety.

The Ashmont man is due to appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Wednesday 27 April 2022.

He was also issued with a suspension notice for his licence and his vehicle was confiscated for three months.
