Burns Point Ferry service to recommence: Ballina Shire

Burns Point Ferry service to recommence

The Burns Point Ferry will resume its normal service at 5.30am on Monday 13 September 2021.

The ferry was temporarily taken offline in late August to complete annual essential maintenance. This year's works included major mechanical and electrical repairs, and safety upgrades. The vessel was also blasted and repainted.

Ballina Shire Council would like to thank the local community for their patience during this annual shutdown period.

The ferry service operates daily between 5.30 am and 12.30 am except on Christmas Day. For more ferry information, including ticketing information visit Council's ferry webpage.

For updates on ferry operations visit MyRoadInfo.com.au or telephone Council on 1300 864 444.
