Sections of Bushland Drive, Taree will undergo road safety and drainage improvement from Monday 14 July.
Sections of old kerb will be replaced along with pavement reconstruction upgrades and spray sealing.
The work will be conducted in three stages and is expected to take up to three months to complete, weather depending, and detours will be in place.
Stage 1: Lawson Cr, Wells St, Wentworth St, Kerle St will be closed during the reconstruction of the pavement for up to five weeks.
Stage 2: Wentworth St, Kerle St, Flinders St, North St will be closed during the reconstruction of the pavement for up to five weeks.
Stage 3: Flinders St will be closed at the intersection during the reconstruction of the pavement for up to three weeks.
MidCoast Council urges all motorists in the area to observe traffic control directions while the work is being undertaken.
