More than 450 Australian Defence Force personnel will be on deployment during the Christmas holiday season in various regions of the world.
Most of them are deployed on operations in the Middle East, Africa and the south-west Pacific, including Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and those serving in Australian Defence Vessel Reliant.
Video Christmas messages were recorded with some of those personnel, who discuss their deployment during the holiday period while away from their loved ones.
