- Busselton Water has launched five offers for residential customers
- Targeting areas of high household water use
- Offers available between 1 October 2025 and 31 May 2026
Busselton residents can now access a range of waterwise offers that help to save water and reduce household bills ahead of summer.
The five offers are available to residential customers of Busselton Water as part of a State-wide Cook Government program that encourages people to be water efficient.
With showering accounting for close to a quarter of household water use, saving water in this area is one of the easiest ways to reduce water use. Through the Showerhead Swap Program, customers can exchange up to two old showerheads for new water-efficient Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) 4-star-rated models.
The Waterwise Toilet Rebate provides customers a rebate of up to $400 on the purchase and installation of a new dual flush WELS 4-star-rated toilet to replace a single flush toilet.
Residential customers can claim up to $1,000 on a new plumbed-in rainwater tank as part of the Rainwater Tank Rebate. It can also be used to replace an existing plumbed-in rainwater tank, or have an existing rainwater tank plumbed-in.
A rebate of up to $300 is available for the purchase, set up and programming of eligible weather-based irrigation controller and module products through the Weather-based Irrigation Controller Rebate.
Customers can also claim a rebate of up to $200 through the Waterwise Irrigation Rebate when they engage a Waterwise Garden Irrigator to reduce water use by improving irrigation efficiency.
Residential customers can take advantage of any or all the offers, which will be available until 31 May 2026 (terms and conditions apply).

As stated by Water and South West Minister Don Punch:
"Busselton Water's new waterwise offers will help residents save on bills while supporting vital water conservation efforts in a region facing pressure on its water sources.
"Despite a wetter-than-usual winter, much of the rainfall isn't reaching our aquifers - highlighting the need for proactive water-saving measures.
"If every customer saved just two buckets of water a day for a year, we'd collectively save enough to fill the Geographe Leisure Centre pool over 230 times - so I encourage everyone to take up the offers and learn more about how we manage and protect our water supply for future generations."
