It's shaping up to be one of the busiest years yet at the Pilbeam Theatre with the 2026 program set to deliver a mix of comedians, cult classic musicals, tribute acts, circus and dance productions and family-friendly entertainment.
Hosting more than 100 public events each year and attracting around 65,000 attendees from across Australia, the Pilbeam Theatre is one of regional Queensland's busiest live performance venues.
The shows are made up of a mix of local productions, such as the iconic Rocky Horror Show coming to the stage in March, touring commercial shows such as comedy performances from the likes of Ahn Do and Tom Gleeson, and shows brought to Rockhampton by RRC.

- Tribute bands to: The Eagles, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Motown, Abba and Neil Diamond
- Children's shows: Emma Memma Where is the Green Sheep? and Spot Live on Stage
Communities and Heritage Councillor Drew Wickerson said it's wonderful to see such high calibre and variety at the Pilbeam.
"When I speak to visitors to the region, many of them tell me that they are surprised that Rockhampton residents get to see such a great range of live performances on stage at the Pilbeam Theatre.
"Rockhampton Regional Council really values the liveability of the region and one of the ways we achieve this is to present some of the best live theatre in Australia.
"Not only can we see national and international touring productions, but also some fabulous local productions as well."
