Northern Territory Police are seeking information in relation to an alleged assault which occurred on Thursday 9 August.
Around 1:00am police believe a female was assaulted by an unknown male on the corner of Cavenagh Street and Lindsay Street, Northern Territory Police say
A passing car stopped and the male driver intervened in the assault which caused the alleged offender to run away. The driver then drove the female home.
The driver is believed to be a Caucasian male in his twenties and was driving a medium sized sedan.
Police are asking for this male to come forward as they believe he may have details which could assist in identifying the offender.
