Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an alleged assault in Jingili last night.
At approximately 9pm, a 40-year-old female was walking on Seabright Crescent, Jingili, when a male approached from behind and assaulted her.
A vehicle described as a silver sedan was seen in the area and police would like to speak with the occupants of this vehicle.
The alleged offender has been described as a young male, Aboriginal in appearance, about 160cm tall, of skinny build, with short black hair.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers, Northern Territory Police say.
