Police are calling for witnesses following an incident where a female teenager was allegedly assaulted in Cygnet last night, Tasmania Police say.
About 5:30pm on Thursday 14 June, the female was allegedly assaulted in the vicinity of Charles and Fitzpatrick Streets, Cygnet, while walking home. She received minor injuries during the incident.
Police are appealing for information from members of the public who may have seen the female teenager or any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Charles Street, Cygnet around that time.
The alleged offender is described as being of medium height, stocky build, and wearing track pants, high top sneakers and a beanie.
