Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an indecent assault in Katherine around 7:00am today.
Police state the victim was walking her dog near the old airstrip when she was assaulted by an unknown male, Northern Territory Police say.
The person of interest is described as being an indigenous male, aged between 25 and 35, approximately 180cm tall, and of thin build. The male was wearing dark knee length shorts, a dark navy t-shirt with a shiny fabric and a dark baseball cap.
Police wish to speak to anyone who may have seen this male or who may have been in the area at the time.
