Northern Territory Police are seeking to locate witnesses who intervened in an alleged serious assault in December 2017.
The alleged assault occurred around 8:00pm on Thursday, 14 December 2017 at the Bagot Road outbound bus stop near Bagot Community. Police say a female was being seriously assaulted by a male prior to intervention from members of the public, Northern Territory Police say.
Police are particularly interested in speaking to the Caucasian male on a bicycle who intervened. Police are also aiming to locate a male and female who pulled over to assist. They were travelling in a Northern Territory Government vehicle however left prior to police arrival.
Police are urgently asking for these witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444, Crime Stoppers.
