Callam Street Altered for Woden Transport Hub Build

Construction of the new Woden Public Transport Interchange is taking shape.

The new Woden Public Transport Interchange will service the Woden Town Centre and new CIT Woden Campus. More than 10,000 commuters are expected to move through the interchange daily when it opens later this year.

The temporary Woden Bus Interchange will remain in use until construction of the new interchange is complete.

To allow for the next stage of construction, the north and south sections of Callam Street in Woden will be temporarily closed to buses from Thursday, 19 June 2025.

Buses will access the Temporary Interchange via Bowes and Matilda Streets until the new interchange opens.

Bus stop 2031 (Launceston Street after Irvine Street) will also be temporarily closed from the first service on Thursday, 19 June 2025 until further notice. Passengers are advised to visit the Transport Canberra website – www.transport.act.gov.au
