On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the Kingdom of Cambodia as it celebrates the 72nd anniversary of its Independence Day.
For over 70 years we have maintained a close relationship based on trust, mutual respect, and shared interests. The growing U.S-Cambodian partnership has brought prosperity, peace, and security to both our peoples. The United States looks forward to continuing our support for a strong, independent, and resilient Cambodia.
Congratulations to all the people of Cambodia on this important occasion. I wish you festive and peaceful celebrations as you honor 72 years of your nation's independence.
