Campaspe Shire Council's #MyCampaspe calendar photo competition is now open! Residents are encouraged to share their best snaps of the shire for a chance to be featured in the 2023 calendar and across Council's social media platforms.

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos said he's excited to see the photos that are submitted and encourages everyone to get involved.

"The calendar competition is always really popular and I really enjoy seeing how creative our residents are. Once again, this year I encourage you all to submit your favourite sights from across the shire.

"Once the winning photos are chosen, the public will have the opportunity to vote for the calendar cover photo. For the second year in a row, the winning photo will also feature as one of the monthly photos inside the calendar.

"We are also excited to make use of some of the photos that won't be used in the calendar across our social media platforms as required," Cr Amos added.

Up to five photos can be entered by each person with the winning entry receiving $50, a calendar and bragging rights for a full year.

Photos must be located in Campaspe Shire, high quality and in landscape orientation.

Photos from the competition will also form part of Council's photographic library and feature in promotional publications, Council reports and on social media.

The competition is now open with entries being accepted until Monday, 25 September.

Apply online via Council's website under the 'Now Open' tab.

The calendar is free to all residents and will become available later in the year.
