The much-loved #MyCampaspe calendar competition is back for another year, inviting residents to share their favourite moments, places, and perspectives from across the shire.
As with the 2024 competition, you can submit entries in any of 10 photography categories or 3 dedicated artwork categories.
Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell said the competition is a great way to showcase the region through the eyes of our people.
"Every year, we're blown away by the talent and passion in our community," Cr Mackrell said.
"The calendar is more than just a collection of images—it's a reflection of what people love about Campaspe, from its natural beauty to its vibrant local life."
This year's competition will again feature a public vote to decide the cover photo, while an internal panel will select the monthly page winners. Each category winner will receive a $100 prize, and participants can submit up to five entries across the 13 categories.
"We're excited to see what our residents will share this year— and we want to see lots of Campaspe faces as well as the stunning landscape, a creative artwork, or a candid community moment," Cr Mackrell added.
Entries open soon, so grab your camera or paintbrush and show us your Campaspe. Photos must be located in Campaspe Shire, be of high quality and in landscape orientation.
The categories include:
1. Local Events + Festivals
Share your favourite local events and/or festivals that took place over the last 12 months in Campaspe.
2. Community Spirit
Show a moment in time when the Campaspe community spirit shone bright.
3. Get Sporty in Campaspe
Submit your best photos that capture the spirit, energy and excitement of sport in the shire.
4. Waterways, Countryside and Farmlands
Campaspe is known for its stunning views. Share your best waterway, countryside and farmland snaps.
5. Arts and Culture
Through your eyes, share the rich, diverse, vibrant culture of Campaspe.
6. Special moments with your nearest and dearest
Show a moment that captures the essence, connection and special moments with your nearest and dearest in Campaspe.
7. Christmas in Campaspe
Illuminate December with your favourite snaps that capture the magic of a Campaspe Christmas.
8. A moment in time with your furry friend/s
Share the charm, personality and touching moments of your beloved fur companions.
9. Flora and Fauna
Immerse yourself in the natural attractions of Campaspe, capturing the beauty and diversity of our flora and fauna.
10. Holidays in Campaspe
Share your special family and friends holiday moments in Campaspe.
11. Freestyle Artwork for under 18 year olds
Showcase your creativity and unique perspective of Campaspe through a range of artistic mediums.
12. Freestyle Artwork for 18+ year olds
Share your creativity and imagination through artwork that embodies the Campaspe spirit, open to ages 18+.
13. Freeform
If you've got photos of Campaspe that don't fit into any of the 12 categories above, submit your freeform here.
Photos from the competition will also form part of Council's photographic library and feature in promotional publications, Council reports and on social media.
The competition opens on Monday, 4 August, with entries being accepted until Friday, 26 September.

The calendar is free to all residents and will become available later in the year.
