FedDev Ontario invests $1 million for Dimachem Inc. to increase domestic production capabilities and create 14 jobs
Windsor-Essex is a well-known leader and innovator in the manufacturing sector from traditional and innovative automotive parts, to agricultural solutions and beyond. As part of Canada's economic recovery, the Government of Canada is supporting these manufacturers with the tools they need to scale-up and create new jobs as they continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, the Honourable Helena Jaczek, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), announced an investment of $1 million for Dimachem Inc. to expand its production capabilities and create 14 skilled jobs in Windsor-Essex.
Located in Windsor, Dimachem Inc. is a leading manufacturer of industrial chemicals for the automotive and cleaning industries. This investment supports the nearly 20,000-sq. ft. expansion of Dimachem's facility and the adoption of leading-edge, energy-efficient equipment to reduce production waste and fulfill its latest contract with Clorox Canada.
Through this investment, Dimachem Inc. is increasing Canadian-made manufacturing of Pine-Sol® products and packaging-meeting Canadian market demands for the cleaner-disinfectant products. As a result, Dimachem will increase revenues, strengthen domestic supply chain spending and boost market opportunities.
