Candid camera in Dandenong North

Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Dandenong North earlier this month.

An unknown male has approached a property on Bellbird Drive at 2.44am on 3 December and has immediately tried to tamper with the CCTV cameras.

The male is then believed to have broken into a shed on the property, removed items and placed them in a nearby street to come back and collect.

The stolen property was never collected by the offender, but a stolen vehicle was recovered nearby which may have been used in the burglary.

The male is described as having a thin build with a beard and was wearing a Nike beanie, light-coloured t-shirt, shorts and shoes and a short-sleeved vest.

Investigators have released footage and images of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
