Cannabis crop found after fire at Maylands, SA

Police have uncovered a cannabis crop after initially responding to a small fire at Maylands last night, according to SA Police.

Just before 7pm on Thursday 27 July, police and fire crews were called to a house on Portrush Road after reports that a fire had started from a faulty electrical box.

Fire crews extinguished the flames, which caused minor damage to the property.

When patrols searched the house, they found a number of cannabis plants being grown hydroponically.
