Cannabis plants were discovered overnight when emergency services responded to a fire at a Valley View property, according to SA Police.
A neighbour reported the fire on Brougham Drive, Valley View at 2.20am on Monday 6 March.
When emergency services arrived they found a shed well alight. The fire was extinguished by MFS crews and the cause determined to be an electrical fault.
However, the patrol's attention was drawn to 13 cannabis plants growing in pots in the yard. The cannabis plants were seized and police will be following up with the occupant, who wasn't at home at the time of the fire.
