The Council of Capital City Lord Mayors is hosting an event in Canberra on the afternoon, of Thursday 13 September, and is scheduled to hear all major parties’ vision for cities, including:
- The Hon Alan Tudge, MP - Minister for Cities, Urban Infrastructure and Population
- The Hon Anthony Albanese, MP – Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development
- Senator Janet Rice – Australian Greens Spokesperson for Transport and Infrastructure
The event will take place in the Senate Alcove, Parliament House, 4pm to 6pm.
Lord Mayors will highlight the need for Federal government to support strong city
economies, that are crucial to maintaining a strong national economy. Cities are where jobs are created, investments are made and lives are lived.
