Car crashing into house at Fulham - driver arrested, SA

The occupants of a house in Fulham are lucky to have escaped injury after a car crashed into their bedroom at Fulham overnight, according to SA Police.

Just after 1am on Wednesday 6 September, patrols were called to Farncomb Avenue after a Mitsubishi sedan crashed into the front bedroom of the house.

The driver left the scene prior to police arriving however, following enquiries he was located at an address nearby and arrested.

The 14-year-old from Fulham has been charged with acts to endanger life, drive unlicensed and leave the scene of an accident. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court later today.

The occupants were quite shaken by the incident but thankfully not physically injured.

SES crews attended and damage is estimated to be between $100-150,000.

A passenger in the car at the time was spoken to by police and released without charge.
