A car ended up on its side and knocked out traffic signals after a crash at Thebarton overnight.
Emergency services responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Port Road and Phillips Street, Thebarton just after 3am on Saturday 18 April.
A driver lost control and crashed his Kia SUV into a traffic light, causing his vehicle to spin and roll onto its side.
Fortunately, the 55-year-old Athol Park man was not injured in the crash.
He was issued with an expiation notice for driving without proper control of his vehicle.
His car was towed from the scene.
Traffic signals were blacked out at the intersection but have been restored, however technicians are still on site replacing the traffic signal pole.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution through this intersection this morning.
