Car Split In Two After Crash - Cambridge Gardens

Police are investigating a single vehicle crash in Sydneys north-west.

About 1.25am today (Wednesday 1 October 2025), officers from Nepean Police Area Command were on routine patrol travelling along Dunheved Road, Cambridge Gardens, when they drove across a blue Ford Falcon XR6 split in two after colliding with a tree and damaging three parked cars.

Officers attended to the driver and sole occupant – a 39-year-old man – until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The man was conveyed to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition where mandatory testing was conducted.

Police have commenced an investigation into the incident to determine if alcohol and speed were a factor.
