Car stolen and woman assaulted during Parkside robbery, South Australia

Police are searching for a car that was stolen during a robbery at Parkside a short time ago.

Just before 5pm on Monday 28 October an elderly woman was putting out her bin outside her Foster Street home when a man and woman approached her.

The woman ran into her home and stole the keys to her car. The man then pushed her out of the way before they both drove off in her car.

Thankfully, the woman was not injured.

The man and woman are described as having an olive complexion, aged 40 to 50 years and wearing dark clothing.

The stolen car is a white 2018 Hyundai Elantra with SA registration S589BVA.

Anyone who sees the stolen car is asked to contact police immediately on 131 444.

Eastern District CIB are investigating.
