Car stolen during break-in at Kurralta Park

Police are searching for a luxury car that was stolen during a break-in at Kurralta Park this morning.

About 3.40am today (Friday 10 January) police were called to a house in Wood Street after reports that two suspects had forced their way into the property and threatened the occupants, before stealing their black 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG sedan, with South Australian registration of S784AUJ. A similar vehicle is pictured below.

None of the occupants were injured during the incident.

The male suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 185cm tall, aged in his mid 20s, slim build, short black hair, wearing a khaki camouflage shirt, shorts and dark-coloured Nike Air Max shoes.

The female suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 20 years old, short with a medium build, with black hair worn in a ponytail and was wearing a black tracksuit.

As a result of the incident there is visible damage to the rear of the vehicle.

Anyone who sees the car or suspects is urged not to approach but instead call the Police Assistance Line immediately on 131444.
