Cardinia Shire Council is pleased to announce the formation of the new Arts and Culture Reference Group.
At the 16 June meeting council appointed six community members to the Arts and Culture Reference Group following an expression of interest and application process held throughout April and May.
The group aims to enrich the cultural landscape of the shire by incorporating varied perspectives and ideas into arts and culture initiatives.
The Arts and Culture Reference Group will play a vital role in shaping Cardinia's vision for arts and culture across the municipality. The diverse representatives will provide invaluable insights, advocacy and specialised knowledge on arts and culture related initiatives.
Members will volunteer their time to attend regular meetings and discuss how council can promote community arts, support local artists, and strengthen the cultural fabric of Cardinia Shire.
