A man has been charged with murder after the body of a woman was found in a home in Sydney's south-west.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to a home on Pandora Street, Greenacre, shortly before 11am yesterday (Friday 18 March 2022), responding to reports of a medical episode.
Paramedics alerted police after they found the body of a severely-emaciated 60-year-old woman.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and arrested an 82-year-old man, who is alleged to have been the woman's sole carer.
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with murder.
The man has been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 19 March 2022).
