Bayside's annual Carols by the Sea was an incredibly successful event that brought the community together to celebrate the festive season in a welcoming, family friendly environment.
Despite uncertainties with the weather, Carols by The Sea took place at Lady Robinsons Beach on Saturday 13 December from 6 - 9pm. Community members had the chance to celebrate the festive season and sing along to their favourite carols while spending time with their family and friends.
The evening was also an opportunity to showcase local musicians and artists, featuring performances by Bay City Church, The Starlets, Frances Castley, the Mascot Wesley Uniting Church Choir, and the Royal Australian Navy Band.
The event also featured a special guest appearance from Santa himself.
A sausage sizzle was held throughout the night, run by the 4th Kingsgrove Scouts.
Council encouraged the use of public transport to and from this event. This was an alcohol-free, family friendly event.
Mayor Edward McDougall said
