Casey Cardinia Business Awards are back in business

The Casey Cardinia Business Awards are back for 2019, with applications now open for the region's premier awards program.

A partnership between the City of Casey and Cardinia Shire Council, the annual awards recognise and celebrate the local businesses whose passion and commitment contribute to and enhance our region.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Amanda Stapledon said it was great to be able to recognise the achievements of businesses from across the region each year.

"The awards help shine a light on the many business success stories from across Casey and Cardinia Shire, from new and upcoming businesses to those making waves on the national and global scale," she said.

"There are so many great local businesses doing great things and it's an honour to be able to showcase and celebrate the contribution and value they add to our region through this annual awards program."

Cardinia Shire Deputy Mayor Cr Collin Ross encouraged businesses to get their applications in.

"The awards are a wonderful business development opportunity and a chance to gain exposure, network and establish relationships, and gain feedback from industry experts. Plus, there's $12,000 worth of cash and prizes up for grabs," he said.

"The application process is a great chance to reflect on and review your business and the awards provide an opportunity to recognise and reward your staff, so get your applications in and be part of the region's flagship business awards program."
