Melbourne Divisional Response Unit (DRU) have arrested and charged a 43-year-old Fitzroy North man as part of ongoing investigations into drug trafficking in the Yarra PSA.
Officers executed warrants at residential and commercial premises in Fitzroy North and Northcote on Wednesday morning (26 February).
During searches significant quantities of methylamphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy were seized, along with two firearms and a significant quantity of cash.
The 43-year-old man has been charged with trafficking large commercial quantities of a methylamphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy, and possessing unregistered firearms.
He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today and has been remanded to appear again at a later date.
