Cavan Youth Justice Centre arrests, South Australia

Police have arrested two youths following an incident at Cavan overnight.

Just after 7.30pm, Monday 27 June, police were called to the Adelaide Youth Justice Centre, after two residents had allegedly caused damage to the facility. Police entered a courtyard and arrested both without further incident.

The 17-year-olds have both been charged with property damage and aggravated affray and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court later today.

No staff at the facility or police were injured and damage caused is estimated at about $5,000.
