CAWS Companion Animal Subsidised Desexing Program for dogs and cats

If you live in the Campbelltown Local Government Area and are a pensioner or earn below $25,000 a year, you may be eligible for the CAWS subsidized desexing program.

Eligible dog and cat owners are offered subsidised desexing, microchipping and first vaccination.

Did you know Council offers a subsidised dog and cat desexing program for eligible pensioners and low income earners living in the Campbelltown Local Government Area? You can enrol up to two animals per household if you meet the below eligibility criteria.

To be eligible for the CAWS program you must:
  • live in the Campbelltown Local Government Area (and bring proof of this with you on the day)
  • be a pensioner or low income earner below $25,000 per annum (and bring proof of this with you on the day)
  • make full payment for the program on the enrolment day

If you do not meet the above criteria, you are not eligible to enrol for the CAWS program.

Program Enrolment

You will need to attend an enrolment day to complete enrolment forms and make your owner contribution payment. Fees are listed below:

Female Dog $65

Male Dog $45

Female Cat $45

Male Cat $30

Details of enrolment days at Rosemeadow Sports Complex are listed below (entry via car park off Dickens Road, Ambarvale).

  • Thursday 1 August 2019 from 11am to 2pm
  • Thursday 29 August 2019 from 11am to 2pm
  • Thursday 10 October 2019 from 11am to 2 pm
